| Community Supported Agriculture is a unique opportunity for consumers to support an agricultural producer. The CSA helps reconnect urban people with the people that produce their food. CSA members share in the risk and the bounty of the season and help to support ecologically responsible farmers. In return for their support, CSA members get first hand knowledge of how their food is produced and receive weekly shares of high quality seasonal produce. CSA members can expect an exciting variety of vegetables, including many heirloom varieties. All produce is grown by us on our farm. It is important to remember that each week, the CSA share will reflect the foods that are seasonally available. Variations in weather can impact food availability. Our season typically runs from May to mid November with one of the longest CSA seasons in the region. Everything that we sell at market and offer in our CSA program is grown by US on OUR farm. We NEVER buy wholesale products from auctions or other farms. We encourage you to ask other producers at the market if they do the same. |
