Missing a pick-up-
If you know ahead of time that you will be missing a pick-up you have the following
options:

  •  Send a friend or neighbor to pick up for you, just be sure that they can tell us your
      last name.

  • If you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, we can arrange for an alternate
      pick-up day and location.

  • We CANNOT arrange for alternate pick-ups if you do not give us 24 hours notice. As
we harvest for each location we only harvest the exact number of shares for that
location. If we were to pick for you on another day without notice of you missing,
we would be picking for you twice.

  • If you miss a pick-up without notice, you may pick up your produce on the farm
within 24 hours, please contact us.

Bags-
You are welcome to bring your own bags to CSA pick-up, we will gladly fill them for you!
However, we cannot accept donations of used bags to distribute produce in. We are required
to provide NEW bags at each delivery. Your bringing re-usable bags for your own produce
will no only help the environment but will help us keep our costs down.

Splitting Shares-
We do not sell ½ shares. If you are splitting a share, it is your responsibility to divide up the
produce as you see fit, we cannot be responsible for splitting shares.

Family Farm-

Please remember that the Sippel Family Farm is a family business and while the farm is a
place of work, it is also our home. We do not have a secretary and we try our best to keep
up proper levels of communication.  We try to be respectful of your time and we ask that
you be respectful of ours.

Visiting the farm/Potlucks-

Potlucks are a great way to get out to the farm, meet other members, and see your food in
action.  Please bring a dish or dishes to share that feed at least the number of people in your
party. Please also bring your own plates, silverware, cups and a chair or blanket. We prefer
to limit the amount of paper products used and do not have enough place settings here to
share with a large group.

Occasionally families enjoy coming out to the farm on their own during the week, we enjoy
having families out at the farm. Please remember that we are not always able to give you a
personal tour and need to continue working as our schedule allows.  Please leave your pets
at home when you visit the farm, we want to create a stress-free environment for the
livestock and animals that call the Sippel Family Farm home.
