Meet the Farmers

    Ben Sippel:
    Attended Ohio Weslyan University
    and graduated with degrees in
    Environmental Studies and
    Geography.

             Lisa Sippel:
             Attended Ohio Domincan University
             and graduated with a degree in
             Education.
The Sippel Family Farm is a 77 acre
farm located just 45 minutes north of
Columbus in Mount Gilead, Ohio. On our
77 acres we grow over 25 acres of
produce and raise beef cattle on pasture.
We have recently started raising pork as
well. Our son Charlie joined us in
February of 2007 and is very active on
the farm.  The Sippel Family Farm was
purchased in January of 2004 when we
were just 23 years old! This year will be
our 8th season of CSA farming ( 5th on
this farm.)  Both of us work full time on
the farm.
